Angel Daniel Ductoc Sr. was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and came to the United States with his family in 1971. Being a Cuban Refugee not speaking a word of English made it difficult for him growing up in the US.
Angel gained his work ethics by watching his father, Angel Joaquin Ductoc, work day and night making ends meet so that him and his wife, Carmen Ductoc, can provide a better future for their children.
Taking advantage of every opportunity offered to him, Angel found himself working for the County of Los Angeles in 1977 where he met his wife, Luz Trejo-Ductoc in 1988 💕 who is a child of Mexican Immigrants.
Married in 1989 they welcomed their first child that same year, Angel Ductoc Jr. and the second child in 1990,
Deanna Ductoc. Two children and a new mortgage payment, it was hard to make ends meet.
So, Angel partnered up with his father to open up Los Angelitos Bakery in 1992.
Angel finally decided to become an American Citizen in 2019, 48 years after coming to the US so that in 2020 he was able to vote for the first time along side his entire family!
Now with the help of all 4 of his children (Angel Jr., Deanna, Andrew, and Daryanna Ductoc) and his wife,
Los Angelitos Bakery has become a staple in the city of Los Angeles by serving the community for almost 3 decades!
